Mallinckrodt's extended-release pain drug meets main goal of study

By Vrinda Manocha (Reuters) – Specialty pharmaceutical company Mallinckrodt Plc said its experimental painkiller significantly reduced the intensity of pain in patients who had undergone a surgical removal of bunions.
